
Also, the stick-on tape measure was peeling off. I can easily slide the 0.007 blade under. I could see light under the whole middle section (where the blade is in-between the miter slots). So, while I have the straight edge out, I decide to check the flatness of the tabletop. I ended up having to use duct tape to basically act as a shim to force the throat plate down enough so that I'll actually be able to feed wood into the saw. Anyways, I finally get it all put together and I try to align the throat plate but the fabric dust guard inside the saw is pushing the front of the throat plate upward. I'm not upset about that, that's what YouTube is for right.

It was very hard to follow along and all the pictures were zoomed in so closely that you couldn't tell what any of it was. First, the instructions to put the stand together was horrible. I had high expectations for it especially because I am a bit of a Dewalt fan boy. This is basically the best portable table saw on the market. I read all the reviews and watched all the vids.
